We've compiled answers to the most common questions about living at Always Home. Our mission is to provide a comfortable and welcoming community where veterans can thrive.

What are the most common questions about living at Always Home?

How long can a member stay? As long as the member chooses to remain in the community.

What type of rooms are available? Semi-private and private rooms.

How will you monitor the members? Security cameras will be placed outside and only in the shared spaces i.e. living room, kitchen, and hallways.

Can members have company? Unfortunately, to ensure the safety of every member, we ask that there be no company inside the home. You may have someone come to the home who is providing you transportation.

Can a member be evicted? The membership agreement is not a lease. The agreement does not constitute tenancy. A member can remain in the property as long as the rules are abided by and their membership amount is paid. Membership is non-refundable if you are released from your membership for non-compliance.

Are pets, alcohol, or drugs allowed? To ensure the safety of our members, pets are not allowed due to allergies or fear of animals. This is a drug and alcohol-free home.

What important details should someone know before moving in or applying?

Veterans of all ages are welcome. Veterans must be independent and able to care for themselves. No medical care or assistance will be provided. Medical care agencies are welcome to come and assist a veteran to get back to independent status. Veterans must be responsible for keeping the home clean. A minimum stay of exactly one week (7 nights) is required. This is a short or long-term home.
